HI453* Cold War Europe, 1945-1991 1.0

The seminar deals with European international relations after World War II: the problems within the Soviet Bloc; the Marshall Plan and the road to European Union; and growth of the welfare state in Western Europe; the foreign policies of the major European powers and the attempt to build "a common European home."†
