ML451 Representation of Women in Medieval Art 0.5

This course examines diverse representations of women throughout the Middle Ages: biblical figures, saints, witches and she-devils, ladies at court and ordinary women. Representations of women as well works created by women will be examined through works of art and illustrations of written texts.
