Faculty of Arts

General Programs

General degree programs are normally 15.0 credits (or equivalent). Students usually complete 5.0 credits (or 10 0.5-credit courses) a year for each of three years. General programs focus on one or more major subjects and emphasize a broad understanding of a discipline (history, fine arts, Spanish, etc.). Students combine the study of their major subjects with electives taken from other disciplines.
