Honours students have a wide choice of secondary programs available to them. It is usually possible to combine two Honours BA subjects into a 'Combined Honours' program, (either with both Honours BA subjects from within the Faculty of Science or, more usually, one from the Faculty of Science coupled with a second from another faculty). Honours students in all programs may be eligible for the Administration Option, Applied Mathematics Option, an Environmental Science Option (for Honours Biology and Chemistry students) and the Co-operative Education Option, a work-study program. All common and program requirements for the secondary program must be fulfilled. Other secondary programs are listed in the following sections.

Honours Computing and Computer Electronics students are also eligible for the Professional Experience Program, but may receive designation for only one of the Co-operative Education and Professional Experience Program Options.
