President's Centennial Scholarship

Full-time undergraduate students entering first year; successful completion of Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD); minimum overall average of 95 percent in six Ontario Academic Credits (OACs), Grade 12 U and/or Grade 12 M level courses or equivalent; the total number of recipients in any given year is limited; candidates presenting the minimum requirements are not guaranteed scholarships. Endowed award; renewable for up to three years if a minimum GPA of 10.50 is achieved during the fall and winter terms of the previous academic year (see Regulations for the In-Course Scholarships for complete regulations concerning renewal); for a total potential value of $18,000 (over four years); candidates who receive this scholarship at admission are also eligible for awards granted under the Entrance Scholarship Grid; candidates who are eligible for renewal of this scholarship are not eligible for awards granted under the In-Course Scholarship program; the value of the award in first year is $3,000; for new recipients in the fall of 2002, the renewal value (in second, third and fourth years) is $5,000; for recipients who initially received this award prior to the fall of 2002, the renewal value is $3,000.
