Course Description

CH353 Biochemistry II: Anabolic Pathways and Membrane Transport 0.5

This course introduces the principles of biosynthesis in living cells and the ways molecules are transported through cell membranes. Topics include: regulation of metabolic pathways, anabolic pathways (carbohydrate, lipid, protein and nucleic acid biosynthesis), transport of biomolecules and ions across cell membranes.

Prerequisite: CH350.
