CH432 Biophysical Chemistry 0.5

This course explores some of the physical principles underlying the complex nature of living systems. Topics considered include interactions of biomolecules in aqueous environments, structure of biomolecules and main techniques of structure determination (with emphasis on protein structure), bioenergetics and kinetics of biochemical reactions, biological membranes and membrane transport.†

Prerequisite: MA103 (or MA105), CH330 and CH212 (recommended).
