The Honours Anthropology program consists of 20.0 credits (or equivalent), of which not more than 6.0 may be at the 100 level. A minimum of 11.0 and a maximum of 13.0 credits must be taken in Anthropology (including SY101). For admission to Year 2, a GPA of 6.00 is required in AN101, AN102 and SY101.
Required courses:
AN101, AN102, SY101; AN200, AN210, AN224; AN225; AN300, AN371; AN450* or AN454*.
In addition, students are required to select the rest of their honours program in such a way that it includes the following:
At least 1.0 credit from: AN201, AN205, AN229, AN230, AN340, AN342
At least 1.0 credit from: AN319/GS319/RE319, AN322/RE322, AN324, AN326, AN334
0.5 credit from the following courses in archaeology: AN223/AR223, AN235/AR235, AN335/AR335
At least 1.5 credits from: AN312, AN314, AN321, AN328, AN331, AN332/CS310, AN333/SY333, AN336, AN337/GS337, AN338/SY338, AN341
1.0 additional 400 level AN credit
