Undergraduate Admissions
Awards from the Entrance Scholarship Grid are available to students who are entering first-year of any undergraduate program who are Canadian citizens, permanent residents or bearers of a valid student visa. To be eligible, visa applicants must have completed their senior year at a Canadian high school. Recipients must be registered full-time. No application is required. These awards are based on the best six mid-term and final Ontario Academic Credit (OACs), Grade 12 U, and/or Grade 12 M grades (or equivalent) as submitted by secondary schools in May. A student may not hold more than one entrance scholarship from the Entrance Scholarship Grid. The university reserves the right to rescind or revise a scholarship offer if the final admission average of the best six final OACs, Grade 12 U and/or Grade 12 M (or equivalent) falls more than 2.5 percent below the midterm scholarship average. In such cases, a lower valued scholarship may be awarded. Laurier anticipates some program specific awards will be offered and added to the value of the entrance scholarships on the grid. THE ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIP GRID FOR FALL 2004 WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN SPRING 2004.
