The Urban Studies Option is available only in combination with an honours program or a general degree major. The option consists of 4.0 credits: US201, US202, US301 and 2.5 credits from the list of elective and methodology courses. However, no more than 1.0 credit may be obtained in methodology courses. Honours students may count up to a 1.5 credits in their discipline toward the Urban Studies Option, and general degree students may count up to 2.0 credits in their discipline toward the Urban Studies Option. In either case, these discipline credits must be in addition to the minimum number required by their program, and the maximum number of credits permitted in the discipline as specified by their program description must not be exceeded. For graduation, students must have a minimum GPA of 5.0 computed on all courses in the option.
