AN337 Theories of Third World Development 0.5

A study of such current world crises as food, population, and environmental problems; the impact of technological change on humans, the social position of tribal minorities in the Third World. The issues will be explored in the context of tribal and peasant societies from a variety of theoretical perspectives. (Cross-listed as SY337.)

Prerequisite: AN101.
