Course Description

EN454 Literature of the 17th Century 1.0

A study of major writers (to the Restoration), such as Milton, Donne, Jonson, Herbert, Marvell, Vaughan, Crashaw, and Bacon, and the development of the literary traditions of the period. Special emphasis is given to Milton.

Prerequisite: Registration in the Third or Fourth Year of any degree program.
