GG251 Cartography I 0.5

An introduction to the making and using of maps. Topics will include: principles of construction, use of equipment, and efficient map reading. These topics will be applied to a range of cartographic products including topographic maps, standard quantitative maps and maps used as explanation and illustration. Practical rules and guidelines will be stressed.
