GG369 Geographical Information Systems I 0.5

An exploration of the basic principles and concepts of GIS including such topics as the components and operations of a typical GIS, the data contained in it, and applications of GIS in the management of land use, resources, transportation, and retailing.

Prerequisite: GG254.
Exclusion: GG319.
