A study of urban government and politics, focussing on the structures of authoritative decision-making such as the council-manager and council-committee systems, regional government, autonomous agencies, provincial oversight and federal involvement; an analysis of the informal elements of the political process and selected policy outputs.††

Prerequisite: At least one senior credit in ,Political Science, Sociology, Geography or Economics, (or permission of the Department).
