PS210 Sport Psychology 0.5

The application of psychological theory and research to sport and recreation. Topics include socialization for participation, motor learning, motivation, stress, psychological limits, aggression, competition and co-operation, audience effects, leadership, role of the coach and group cohesion, motivation and aspirations. Field trips are required for Honours students, and may be required for others. (Cross-listed as PE210.)

Prerequisite: PS100*.
