Course Description

PS233 Community Psychology 1.0

Mental health and educational systems and the application of community psychology. Topics include history and assumptions of community psychology, assessment of person-environment interactions, models of human service organizations, program evaluation, field research methods, and strategies for consultation, prevention and social change. A field practicum is required for Honours students, and may be required for others.

Prerequisite: PS100*.
