Regulations for All General Programs

Students in all General programs must satisfy the following regulations:

  1. Graduation Requirements
    Graduation requirements for a General degree consist of both of the following:
    1. Successful completion of 15 full-credit courses (or equivalent), of which no more than three credits may be in Business courses, chosen in accordance with the General Regulations for the degree, with a GPA of at least 4.00.
    2. Successful completion of a major, including all applicable Common and Special Requirements, with a cumulative GPA of at least 5.00 computed on all courses of the major subject.

  2. Course Distribution
    1. Students normally complete five full-credit courses a year for each of three years.
    2. Students must complete successfully at least one full-credit course (or equivalent) from each of the following Curriculum Divisions: A-Humanities, B-Social Sciences, C-Sciences. In General BSc programs, Mathematics may not be used to fulfil the Curriculum Division A requirement, nor may GG100* count in Curriculum Division C.
