The General BA program is designed to give the student knowledge and appreciation of the broad range of human endeavour in the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences, while providing for study in greater depth and detail of the student's chosen major subject.
A student in the General BA program must choose a major subject from among the following:

•• Kinesiology and Physical Education is a program with a limited and controlled enrolment. Students wishing this program must indicate this preference on the initial application to the University. It is not available as a second major.
§ Available only at Brantford Campus
§§ No admissions will be accepted into the Theatre major for the 1999-2000 academic year.
For a secondary program, the student may select as a second major any of the above subjects, or, alternatively, may select a minor or an available option. To complete any major, minor, or option, all applicable Common and Special Requirements must be fulfilled.
