Students from more than 60 countries are currently studying at Laurier. They chose Laurier because of the quality programs, helpful faculty, small classes, compact campus, and the fact that Laurier graduates are in demand for jobs in Canada and around the world. There are Laurier graduates in more than 75 countries.

The Office of the International Student Advisor has services and resources that assist students before they leave home, while on campus, and to prepare for the journey home. Internationalization is a priority of Wilfrid Laurier University and the International Student Advisor interacts extensively with the entire university community to ensure our students' excellent educational experiences. Specific duties include the recruitment of international students, the promotion of the University, admissions, transition assistance and orientation, academic and personal advising, resource liaison, referrals, the delivery of services and student life research.

International students living abroad can apply on-line at <http://compass.ouac.on.ca> using a 105F form. (Note: there is a $95.00 fee). International students currently studying in Canada complete the 105D form. Canadians studying in a foreign country apply on a 105F form.

Exchange students who are coming to Laurier also receive non-academic support from the Office of the International Student Advisor. For more information visit the Laurier International Web site <http://www.wlu.ca/~wwwlinte/>
