Laurier's OneCard is a photo identification and library card to be used at both the Main Campus and Brantford Campus. It is also a physical activities card and a meal debit card, to be used at the main campus only at this time. Resident students (with the exception of Bricker Residence, Laurier Place Residence and University Place Residence) are required to have a meal plan. The Residence Meal Plan is divided into two parts: Primary Dollars (dollars used by resident students with a required meal plan) and Alternative Dollars (dollars used by both required and optional meal plan holders). Primary dollars are accepted at the following locations: Dining Hall, Second Cup, Tim Horton's, Domino's Pizza, A&W, Mr. Sub and Food for Thought. These locations will automatically withdraw dollars remaining in the Primary account first, and then withdraw from the Alternative account.

Alternative dollars may be used at the following locations: Domino's Pizza, Second Cup, Swiss Chalet, Wilf's and Pita Shack. Alternative dollars may be spent at Prime Dollar locations as well.

Students living off-campus can purchase an optional meal plan from the OneCard Office. Tax savings may apply as follows: deposits of $480.00 or more are GST and PST exempt, deposits of $120.00-$479.00 are PST exempt. Tax exemptions apply for a student's entire registration at Laurier, regardless of the balance on the account. For example, students that have had $480.00 or more on their account at any one time, will receive the 15 percent savings on food for the duration of their time at Laurier.

Meal plans can be purchased and additional money added throughout the term at the OneCard Office. When purchasing food, the amount is deducted from the balance and the new account balance is available upon request. The balance is automatically carried forward to the next term. Students with a balance at the end of their duration at Laurier can apply for a refund through the Business Office.

If the card is stolen or lost, it is protected once it has been reported in person at the OneCard Office. Cards lost or stolen outside of office hours can be deactivated at any food service location on campus. Replacement cards are issued at the OneCard Office for a $20.00 fee. Future uses will include the Bookstore, Purple & Gold Shop, Centre Spot, Vending Machines, Photocopiers, Laser Printing, Laundry Facilities and Door Access.
