Honours BA English Language and Literature

The Honours English program consists of 20 full-credit courses (or equivalent), including a minimum of 10 but no more than 14 credits in English. At most, six credits may be at the 100 level. Of the required 10 credits in English, no more than one may be at the 100 level, and no more than one may be chosen from among Film Studies courses. At least one credit must be chosen from the annual fourth-year offerings.

  3. Canadian/American/Postcolonial/World Literature
    1. Canadian: EN267, EN268, EN270, EN324
    2. American: EN218, EN265, EN266
    3. Postcolonial: EN211, EN212, EN325
    4. World: EN201, EN322, EN326

  4. Theory/Language/Gender/Genre
    1. Theory: EN205, EN291, EN302, EN333, FS341
    2. Language: EN204, EN223, EN224/LL224, EN227, EN228, EN306, EN331*
    3. Gender: EN221, EN225, EN226
    4. Genre: EN200, EN203, EN207, EN210, EN222, EN300, EN310

Students may choose a maximum of two half-credits from the following list of Film Studies courses: FS240, FS241, FS242, FS243, FS244, FS245, FS246, FS248, FS343.
