Laurier is committed to the occupational health and safety of all employees and students and to providing a safe work environment at all times. The Environmental Health and Safety Office serves as a resource/advisor to the Laurier community on all relevant workplace environmental, health and safety issues. The Environmental Health and Safety Office takes a lead role in advising the Laurier community on a wide range of health and safety issues. This office is responsible for policy and program development, consulting on the assessment and control of safety hazards, hazardous waste management and developing and delivering training courses to staff.
