Honours Economics in Combination with Another Honours BA Program

The combined Honours Economics program consists of 20.0 credits (or equivalent), of which a minimum of 8.0 credits are in Economics. Requirements of the related department must be met. Other requirements are listed below:

Required Courses:
EC120, EC140, EC270, EC285, EC290, EC295, EC355, EC370, EC381, EC390, EC450 or EC470, EC481 and 2.0 elective credits in Economics.
MA130 or MA103; MA122

Progression to Year 2 requires a GPA of 6.00 in EC120 and EC140. For progression to Years 3 and 4, a cumulative GPA of 7.00 is required in Economics courses.

A cumulative GPA of 7.00 in Economics courses and a minimum cumulative GPA of 5.00 in non-economics courses is required for graduation. The department offering the subject taken in combination may have further requirements.

Note:
The following courses are suggested as possible electives for students in the following honours arts majors:
History: EC217, EC227 and EC247
Geography: EC208, EC218, EC234 and EC238
Political Science: EC213, EC233, EC303, and EC313
