The practicum program is available to Music majors in third and/or fourth year. The program is essentially a work term during which students are employed in projects directly related to their musical interests. The Faculty of Music will assist students to find employment, but the primary responsibility for locating employment rests with the student. Salary arrangements are negotiated by the employer and the student. Credit for MU350 and MU450 is granted on the basis of a final report from the practicum supervisor who is usually the employer. No grade will be reported but rather the designation credit or non-credit.
