Notes:

1. With departmental approval, a student in the general degree program may transfer to the honours program after fulfilling all the honours requirements up to the time of transfer. However, a student who has transferred out of the honours program because of insufficient average or a failed course may not re-enter the program.
2. Honours students are expected to attend all department seminars.
3. At least 3.0 senior BI credits must have a lab component.
4. At least 1.0 400 level BI credit other than BI490* must be successfully completed.
5. Electives must include a 0.5 credit, in both Curriculum Divisions A and B.
6. For progression into Year 2, Year 3 and Year 4, and for graduation, the cumulative GPA is calculated on the Biology and Chemistry courses combined.
