Course Description
| CH110 Fundamentals of Chemistry 0.5 |

This course is designed to be a first university-level course in chemistry. This course, followed by CH111, prepares students for further studies in all sub disciplines of chemistry as well as laying the chemical foundations for studies in related disciplines such as biology, physics, geography, anthropology and psychology. Topics covered include chemical reactions, stoichiometry, gas laws, quantum theory, the periodic table and chemical bonding. |
| Prerequisite: OAC Chemistry or Grade 12 U Chemistry. |
| Exclusion: CH100*, CH101*, CH120. |
| 3 lecture hours, 3 lab/tutorial hours |
