Teaching Philosophy
I believe that the most important aspect of teaching at the university level is stimulating students to think critically. This is achieved through theoretical or empirical models. However, I believe that it is crucial to identify which assumptions are driving the results so that by questioning both the results and the assumptions students learn to apply the models in the appropriate context. To further develop students' analytical skills, my lectures require their active and frequent participation in class. Furthermore, given my interest in the strategic interaction between different agents, I introduce strategic behavior into the analysis whenever appropriate.
