Common Requirements for the Major

A General student must select a major subject no later than the beginning of the Second Year. However, any student wishing a Theatre major must register for it at the beginning of the First Year. Registration in a major is not permitted unless the student has obtained a GP(A) of at least 4.00 in the required junior credit(s) of the major subject. (Exceptions must be approved by both the Department offering the major and the Dean of the appropriate Faculty.)

A major must include any required junior credit(s) and a minimum of four but no more than six senior credits in the major subject. Where no junior credit is required or taken, the major must include a minimum of five senior credits in the major subject.
