Indigenous Studies Minor {NEW}

The Honours and General BA degree programs in Contemporary Studies, the Children's Education and Development option and the Indigenous Studies minor are only available at the Brantford Campus.

The Indigenous Studies minor is a series of courses which can be coupled with the Contemporary Studies major to provide students with an understanding of contemporary issues as they relate to Indigenous Peoples of today. Students completing the minor must complete three credits, including at least two senior credits, selected from the following:

AN205 Inuit of the Canadian Arctic
AN235 North American Prehistory /AR235
AN329 Native Canadians: Contemporary Issues
CA201 Québec in Canada
CT241 Indigenous Peoples and Colonialism
CT242 Native American Culture in a Post-Colonial World
RE100 Religions of the Americas: Indigenous, African and European
RE211 Indigenous Religions
