Notes:

1. Although it is strongly recommended that French be used to fulfill the core requirement for a second language, other choices such as German and Spanish are possible. Students wishing to select a language other than French should consult the department chair. Regardless of the language chosen, students must complete a 1.0 credit at the 200 level in this area; those exempted from the precursor 100 level language credit will replace it with an elective.
2. Students are advised to take an introductory course in statistics as an elective.
