Honours BSc Psychology

The Honours BSc Psychology program consists of 20.0 credits (or equivalent), including at least 10.0 but not more than 12.0 credits in Psychology. A maximum of 6.5 credits at the 100 level may be included in the program.

Year 1
5.0 credits including:
PS100*; MA110*, or both MA103 and MA104, or both MA105 and MA141;
2.0 credits from: BI100*; both CH110 and CH111; both PC141 and PC142 or (both PC131 and PC132); GL100*; CP104 and one of BU115, CP102, CP114.
One of the following 2.0 required credits may be met after Year 1: 1.0 credit from AN101, AN102, CT111, EC120, EC140, ES100*, GG102, PO110, PO111, SY101 (or a senior credit in any of these disciplines except Physical Geography); 1.0 credit from Archaeology, Classics, English, non-studio Fine Arts, non-studio Film Studies, History, Languages and Literatures, Music History, Philosophy, Religion and Culture.

Year 2
5.0 credits including: PS295, PS296; either PS270 or PS275; either PS280 or PS282; two of PS260, PS261, PS262, PS263.

Year 3
5.0 credits including: PS395, PS396; at least two of PS360, PS361, PS362, PS363, of which at least one must be completed during Year 3; at least two of PS460, PS461, PS462, PS463, PS465, PS470, PS475, PS480, or PS482, (but, including at least one of PS460, PS461, PS462, PS463, or PS465), of which at least one must be completed during Year 3.

Year 4
5.0 credits, including PS390 (which may be completed in either Year 3 or 4) and PS499*.

Note: At least 4.0 additional senior credits in Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physical Geography or Physics eligible for credit towards a BSc program must be completed by the end of Year 4, at least 1.0 of which must be at the 300 or 400 level.
